Robyn & Alan “Razz” Rasmussen
Owner Directors
Robyn and Razz have a long history of working together, raising their four children while pursuing various agricultural ventures. After a career in Sharemilking and a few years in Sheep & Beef farming, they sold their farm in King Country and made the move to New Plymouth. In early 2007, they purchased Betts & Bishop, marking a new chapter in their professional lives.
In their early years of owning the business, Robyn took on the responsibility of managing Administration and Finance, while Razz focused on Estimating, Project Management and leading the staff in the field. Their combined efforts and complementary roles contributed to the growth and success of Betts & Bishop.
Although Robyn and Razz remain actively involved the business, they have started transitioning the management responsibilities to others within the company. Zoe Hall, serving as the Business Manager, and Ben Te Huia, in the role of Operations Manager, are taking on more significant roles in leading and managing the company.
While Razz continues to work on the tools, particularly on major projects, Robyn focuses on office operations. This transition in management ensures the continuity of Betts & Bishop’s operations while allowing Robyn and Razz to gradually step back and enjoy a well-deserved semi-retirement.
